DAYTON- The Wright State women's soccer team remained undefeated in Horizon League thanks to an 89
th-minute equalizer off the foot of
Olivia Stroud.

Wright State (6-5-1, 3-0-1) will not have a midweek match this week, but will remain home on Saturday, October 4, as they welcome Youngstown State to the friendly confines of Alumni Field. The first touch is currently scheduled for 6 p.m., and one lucky fan will walk away with a giant fan necklace.

Oakland dominated possession in the first 45 minutes, generating multiple quality offensive attacks, but was unable to put the ball in the back of the net. The Raiders struggled to find their footing in the first half and were unable to take a shot.

The Golden Grizzlies got on the board first, scoring their lone goal in the 57
th minute. Brae Cole sent in a corner kick into the box and over the head of Sarka for an Olimpico. The goal is Cole's sixth of the season.

The Raiders would get the late equalizer in the 89
th minute when
Caitlin Burger sent a corner kick into the box that rattled around amongst the pack, and Stroud was able to get a foot on it and send it into the back of the net. The goal is Stroud's second of the season, and in conference play.

In the box score, the Raiders trailed in shots (5-12), shots on goal (2-5), and corner kick opportunities (4-8).
Kiera Sarka recorded four saves between the posts.
