
Women’s Soccer Hosts Green Bay in the 2025 Horizon League Championship Quarterfinal

DAYTON- The Wright State women's soccer team will be the No. 4 seed for the 2025 Horizon League Women's Soccer Championship that begins next week, and the Raiders will host No. 5 Green Bay on Sunday, November 2, at 1 p.m. at Alumni Field

Wright State (7-6-5, 4-1-5 HL) will face No. 5 Green Bay at Alumni Field in quarterfinal action on Sunday. The match will be available to stream on ESPN+, and live stats will also be available. A win Sunday afternoon would advance Wright State to a semifinal match at Milwaukee on Thursday, November 6. Tickets are available for only $10.
The Raiders came up just short of the Phoenix when the two teams met in Green Bay on October 16. The Phoenix opened the scoring in the 16th minute and doubled their lead in the 64th minute. Ruby Dunlevy would cut the deficit in half for the Raiders in the 70th minute. Amber Branum got the ball around the halfway line and played a pass up the right wing to Samara Nunn, who found space and played a cross into the box that found Dunlevy unmarked at the back post for an easy tap-in goal.
Sunday's Quarterfinal action also includes No. 3 Youngstown State Hosting No. 6 Oakland.
