Raiders rack up four more wins on Saturday

SHREWSBURY, MO – The Wright State bowling team tallied four more wins on day two of the Columbia 300 Saints Invite on Saturday, going 4-1 for the second straight day to sit in sixth in the 16-team field.

Wright State now has a two-day pinfall total of 10,162, while the Raiders are one of just three teams with eight or more victories through two days, joining first-place Wichita State (9-1) and UAB (8-2).

Tournament action closes on Sunday starting at 9:30 a.m. ET with best-of-seven baker matches in bracket play. Wright State will kick off bracket play with a matchup against Nebraska.

The Raiders went 4-1 in Saturday's traditional matches, tallying wins over Oklahoma Christian (1,034-932), Wisconsin-Whitewater (1,069-1,048), Western Illinois (1,022-903) and Nebraska (1,097-1,078) before ending the afternoon with a close loss against McKendree (950-941).

Wright State finished day two action with a 5,163 pinfall and on the way to their two-day pinfall total of 10,162 with a 203.2 average game score. Rylie Jeanneret led the Raiders in 13th individually with a total pinfall of 1,113 and a 222.6 average, followed by Jasmine Schulze in 20th with her 1,065 total pinfall and 213.0 average.
