Wright State volleyball's Taygan Corstange earns second straight Horizon League Player of the Week

DAYTON, Ohio – Wright State defensive specialist Taygan Corstange was named Horizon League Player of the Week on Monday, the league announced. It is the second straight week Corstange has earned the honor.

Corstange averaged 5.88 digs per set as the Raiders won both matches against Green Bay at C.J. McLin Gymnasium. She totaled 47 digs across eight sets and added 2 aces.

The two wins moved Wright State to 11-5 overall and 6-0 in Horizon League play, extending its winning streak to seven matches. The Raiders and Northern Kentucky are the only teams unbeaten in league play.

Corstange is the only player to earn the award in consecutive weeks this season. Wright State players have won it four times in 2026, the most of any Horizon League school: Mya Ayro (Aug. 31), Lauren Yacobucci (Sept. 28) and Corstange (Oct. 5 and Oct. 12).

Northern Kentucky's Sydney Bray also earned Player of the Week honors.
