Raiders tally three Saturday victories

Smyrna, TN – The No. 9 Wright State bowling team recorded three Saturday wins at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic, going 3-2 on the second day of action to sit in 12th in the 34-team field.

Wright State now has a two-day pinfall total of 9,776 with an average game score of 195.5.

Tournament action closes on Sunday starting at 9:55 a.m. ET with best-of-seven baker matches in bracket play. Wright State will kick off bracket play with a matchup against No. 10 Sacred Heart.

The Raiders went 3-2 in Saturday's traditional matches, opening the day with losses to No. 3 Arkansas State (1,020-921) and No. 12 North Carolina A&T (1,074-918) before tallying three straight wins over Long Island (1,015-759), No. 10 Sacred Heart (1,021-1,009) and No. 11 Niagara (987-970) to close the afternoon.

Wright State finished day two action with a 4,862 pinfall and on the way to their two-day pinfall total of 9,776 with a 195.5 average game score. Jasmine Schulze led the Raiders in eighth individually with a total pinfall of 1,100 and a 220.0 average, followed by Allie Shattuck in 52nd with her 969 total pinfall and 193.8 average.
