DAYTON – Wright State men's basketball coach Clint Sargent has announced the signing of Tahj Martin this afternoon to an Athletics Aid Agreement to attend Wright State University and join the Raider program beginning this fall.
Â
The newest Raider comes from Silver Spring, Maryland and Blake High School.
Â
"We love the environment Tahj is coming from," Sargent said. "He's a recent state champion with a strong foundation that we believe we can continue to grow and develop. Tahj has all the character traits needed to make an immediate impact at our level. He's a versatile guard with a physical frame who can defend multiple positions on the perimeter. There's no doubt he will enhance our culture both on and off the floor from day one."
Â
Martin, a 6'2" guard, averaged 11.6 points per game, 4.2 rebounds per game, 4.1 assists per game and 1.8 steals per game last season as a senior. He was named the MVP of the Maryland 4A state championship game after tallying 14 points and six rebounds in the title game to lead Blake High School to its first state title in any sport in school history.
Â
Martin joins Noah Lewis, who signed with the Raiders during the early signing period last November, as true freshmen on the 2026-27 roster.
