DAYTON- Wright State women's basketball coach Kari Hoffman has announced the addition of transfer Jasmine Fearne.
Fearne, a 6-0 guard from Cairns, Australia, joins the Raiders after spending four seasons at Bowling Green State University.
"Jasmine is a great shooter and has a high level of basketball knowledge," Hoffman said. "She brings a great deal of experience and maturity to our team!"
Fearne played in 76 games with 16 starts across three seasons at Bowling Green, missing the entire 2023-24 season due to injury.
During the 2025-26 season, Fearne played in 30 contests for the Falcons with 16 starts. In her redshirt junior campaign, she averaged 4.7 points in 14.7 minutes of play, shooting 34.2 percent from the floor and 29.9 percent from behind the three-point line. Fearne erupted for a career-high 16 points on December 7 in a win over Defiance, knocking down three three-pointers.
Fearne excelled in the classroom, being named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team twice and the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team once.
Fearne becomes the first transfer addition to the Wright State roster, joining high school signees Megan Ganschow, Rowan Klesmit, and Sydney Williams.
