Raiders Sign Fleck to Four Year Extension
6/12/2026 10:21:00 AM | Bowling
DAYTON- The Wright State Athletic Department has announced a contract extension for head women's bowling coach Jeff Fleck.
The contract extension keeps Fleck in the green and gold for four additional seasons and will run through the 2029-2030 season.
"I am extremely honored to be asked to continue strengthening our nationally ranked D-1 Bowling Program," Fleck said.
The only Division-I-era coach the program has known, Fleck has successfully guided the Raiders from a club program, through the Division-I transition to a nationally-ranked program and affiliate member of Conference USA.
This past season, the Raiders peaked at number nine in the collegiate bowling ranks and finished the season ranked 13th overall and with a RPI of 11. The Raiders took home the title at their own tournament, the Raider Classic, placed second at the Mercyhurst Invite and third at the Warhawk Classic. Overall, the Raiders had five top-5 finishes, seven top-10 finishes and their 85 wins are most in program history and second in the NCAA only behind national champion Jacksonville State.
"We have come a long way in just 4 years, and the future is very promising," Fleck added. "My current staff and I are looking forward to continued success on the lanes and in the classroom for our student athletes."
In addition to their success on the lanes, the women's bowling squad raised $16,000 dollars through various fundraising efforts. The Raiders also placed nine bowlers on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
