DAYTON- Wright State women's basketball coach Kari Hoffman has announced the addition of transfer Jayden Terry.
Terry, a 5-9 guard from Gainesville, Fla, joins the Raiders after spending her freshman season at Louisiana Tech.
"Jayden embodies everything we want in a student athlete and is ready to make her impact right away," said Hoffman. "She comes from a highly successful team in a tough league where she was a lockdown defender. I'm excited to see her do the same in the Horizon League!"
During the 2025-26 season, Terry played in 29 games with one start for the Lady Techsters. In her freshman campaign, she averaged 1.8 points in 5.8 minutes of play, shooting 52.6 percent from the floor on 38 shot attempts. Terry scored a career-high 16 points against Louisiana Christian on November 11 in a career-best 22 minutes played.
Terry, a 2025 graduate of Gainesville High School, earned UF Player of the Year and First Team All-Area honors as a senior. She finished her high school career with 1,658 points, 597 rebounds, 294 assists, and 223 steals.
Terry becomes the second transfer addition to the Wright State roster, joining Jasmine Fearne and high school signees Megan Ganschow, Rowan Klesmit, and Sydney Williams.
