DAYTON- Wright State women's basketball coach Kari Hoffman has announced the addition of transfer Megan Campbell
Campbell, a 5-9 guard from Massillon, OH, joins the Raiders after spending the previous two seasons at Tiffin.
"Megan will add depth to our guard position and bring a lot of athleticism," said Hoffman. "She can shoot it from anywhere and is explosive in transition."
Campbell played and started in 42 games across her two seasons at Tiffin, averaging 11.7 points, 2.9 assists, and 4.9 rebounds on 35.7 percent shooting. She is a pure scorer, scoring double-digit points 35 times and 20-plus points on eight occasions in a Tiffin uniform. In her sophomore campaign for the Dragons, Campbell averaged 11.9 points per game, highlighted by a career-high 27-point outing against Cedarville in January.
The guard was a standout at Massillon Jackson High School, where in her senior season she picked up Academic All-Ohio, Federal League Player of the Year, District 4 Player of the Year, 2nd Team All-Ohio, and 1st Team NE Ohio Inland District honors.
Campbell becomes the fourth transfer addition to the Wright State roster, joining Allie Daniels, Jasmine Fearne, and Jayden Terry, as well as high school signees Megan Ganschow, Rowan Klesmit, Paula Sevilla, and Sydney Williams.
