DAYTON – The Wright State women's soccer team remains unbeaten after a five-goal outburst Thursday night at Alumni Field, defeating IU Pennsylvania 5-2.

Wright State (2-0-1) will kick off a stretch of four games away from Alumni Field at Marshall on Sunday, August 23. Kickoff in Huntington is slated for 6 p.m.

IU Pennsylvania opened the scoring Thursday night thanks to a goal by Charlotte De Keukelare in the 26th minute.

Wright State would go on to score the next five goals unanswered. Alea Cook would get the Raiders on the board in the 30th minute. Taliah Pellizzari would send a cross into the box that found the head of Cook, who placed the ball past the IUP goalkeeper into the back of the net.

Kylie Krynzel would earn a penalty in the 40th minute when she was taken down inside the Crimson Hawks' box. The senior would step up to the spot to take the penalty and fire the ball into the back of the net. The goal is the first of Krynzel's collegiate career.

Sophomore Leigha Lauer would get the start in net for the Raiders and play the first 45 minutes before turning over goalie duties to Jordan Frantz in the second half. The second half would mark Frantz's collegiate debut after not appearing in a game as a freshman in 2025.

Reigning Horizon League All-League First Team honoree Caitlin Burger would score her first two goals of the season, recording a brace in the span of six minutes. The senior's first goal would come in the 61st minute on an assist by fellow senior Ruby Dunlevy. Burger's second goal would come in the 66th minute thanks to a service from Aerial Fast.

Chloe Dunford would add one last goal in the 90th minute. The goal is the second for the freshman in as many games.

In the box score, Wright State led IU Pennsylvania in shots (15-4), shots on goal (12-1), and corner kick opportunities (4-2). Freshmen Carleigh King and Ava Pultz would make their collegiate debuts off the bench for the Raiders.
