Volleyball set for one-of-a-kind weekend in the Nutter Center

DAYTON – The Wright State Volleyball program is set to host a one-of-a-kind weekend as part of the 2026 Raider Invitational. Alongside the Raiders' three collegiate games against Santa Clara, Eastern Illinois, and Marquette, Wright State will play host to nine high school matches.

Bellbrook, Centerville, and Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (CHCA) will take part in a round-robin format on Saturday, August 29, with the varsity matches taking place in the Nutter Center Main Arena and the junior varsity matches taking place in McLin Gym.

TICKET INFO
Season tickets for all Wright State 2026 home games are on sale now and include tickets to all matches in the Nutter Center. While fans can purchase tickets to the Raider Invitational in a variety of options - all session passes, courtside seats, reserved seats, and general admission seats. Saturday's Day Two tickets are $10 for the day and provide access to every match in both gyms. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, with no additional surcharge for advance purchases.

TOURNAMENT INFO
The excitement begins Friday night as the Raiders open their 2026 season against Santa Clara at 6 p.m. During the match, Wright State students will have the chance to enter the Fall Fest Sweepstakes, where one lucky student will one-year free tuition.

Saturday will be a jam-packed day of Volleyball action in the Nutter Center starting at 9 a.m. when Bellbrook takes on CHCA, followed by Centerville taking on CHCA at 10:15. Wright State will play its first game of the day at 1 p.m. against Eastern Illinois before Bellbrook faces off against Centerville at 3 p.m. All eyes will turn again to the main arena at 7 p.m. as Wright State closes the day against Marquette. Junior Varsity matches will be running in McLin Gym in the morning starting at 9 a.m. with Bellbrook vs CHSA.

Between Saturday's matches, fans are encouraged to visit the Wright State Fan Zone, featuring a bounce house, various yard games, and more. Fans will also have the opportunity to meet the 2026-27 Wright State men's and women's basketball teams, play games and get autographs in the Fan Zone at 6 p.m.

The first 500 students in the Rowdy Raiders student section for the Marquette match will receive a free Chick-fil-A sandwich.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Doors: The Arena will open to fans at 8 a.m. Gates 9 (rear of the Arena, floor level) and 3 (front of the Arena, main entrance) will be open for ticket scanning and purchases. Fans attending the JV matches in McLin Gym are encouraged to use Gate 9. Fans attending the varsity and collegiate matches should use Gate 3.

Parking: Parking for Saturday's matches will be free of charge. Please note that Lot 2 will be closed on Saturday. Lots 1 and 3-9 will be open to the public.

Policies: Wright State and the Nutter Center's Clear Bag Policy will be enforced all weekend. Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the Arena.

Cashless Facility: Please note that the Nutter Center is a cashless facility for both ticketing and concessions.

Seating: All tickets for the high school matches will be general admission. Fans attending matches in the Nutter Center may sit anywhere on the sidelines above the railing. Bleacher seating will be available for fans attending matches in McLin Gym.
