Men’s Basketball Unveils 2026-27 Horizon League Schedule

DAYTON/INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League announced its 2026-27 men's basketball conference schedule Thursday afternoon, as head coach Clint Sargent and the Raiders look to defend their Horizon League regular-season and Tournament titles from a season ago.
The conference schedule opens with a single weekend of action in early December before the close of non-conference slates around the League. The final 18 contests of the regular season will begin just ahead of the new year and run through the final weekend of the regular season in late February.
Wright State will begin its 2026-27 Horizon League journey on the road with its annual Wisconsin road trip, opening the conference slate at Milwaukee on Thursday, December 3, before continuing to Green Bay on Saturday, December 5. The Raiders will close out the 2026 calendar with another trip up north to take on Cleveland State on Wednesday, December 30.
The Raiders' first home Horizon League contests will come on January 3 and 6, as they welcome Purdue Fort Wayne and IU Indy to the Nutter Center. Wright State will then take a road trip to the Chicagoland area to take on new Horizon League foe Northern Illinois on Saturday, January 9. The Raiders will return home to host Robert Morris on January 14 before making the short trip south to face Northern Kentucky on January 17. Wright State then settles in for three consecutive home contests at the Nutter Center against Detroit Mercy (Jan. 21), Northern Illinois (Jan. 23), and Cleveland State (Jan. 28), before closing January on the road at Purdue Fort Wayne (Jan. 31).
February begins with the Raiders taking their annual trip to Michigan to take on Oakland on February 5 before continuing to Detroit Mercy on February 7. Wright State will return home to the Nutter Center for a pair of contests, welcoming Green Bay and Milwaukee to town on February 11 and 13. The Raiders wrap up the regular season by alternating home and road contests, traveling to Youngstown State (Feb. 17) and IU Indy (Feb. 24), while hosting Northern Kentucky (Feb. 21) and closing the regular season against Oakland (Feb. 27).
