Men’s Basketball Finalizes 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule

DAYTON – The Wright State men's basketball team and head coach Clint Sargent announced the Raiders' 2026-27 non-conference schedule on Thursday afternoon, highlighted by five contests inside the Nutter Center as part of a slate that includes some familiar foes.
Season tickets are on sale now, with opportunities to purchase single-game tickets set to go on sale soon. Wright State's Horizon League schedule was announced earlier this month.
The Raiders' non-conference schedule is highlighted by the return of the Stars, Stripes, and Flight Classic against Air Force and a continuing pair of longstanding in-state matchups, with road contests at Toledo and Miami (OH), in addition to the previously announced trip to Disney World to take part in the ESPN Events Invitational.
The Raiders will officially open the season at home on November 2 as they host Air Force for the second rendition of the Stars, Stripes, and Flight Classic. The Raiders will close out the first week of the season inside the Nutter Center as they host Florida Atlantic on November 6. Wright State will then hit the road for its first two road tests of the season at Toledo on November 10 and Samford on November 13. The Raiders will return home for a midweek matchup with Malone on November 18.
Wright State is then set to travel to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, to take part in the ESPN Events Invitational. The Raiders will play three games in three days from November 23-25.
The Raiders will close out the non-conference schedule with four December matchups, first hosting a pair of contests inside the Nutter Center against Cornerstone on December 9 and Stetson on December 16. Wright State will then wrap up non-conference play with a pair of road contests, first traveling to Philadelphia to take on Temple on December 19 before returning to the state of Ohio for their 42nd all-time meeting with Miami (OH) on December 22.
Wright State returns five players from a season ago while adding nine newcomers, including five transfers and four freshmen. Kellen Pickett, Dominic Pangonis, and Andrea Holden return to the Raiders after helping lead the team to Horizon League Regular Season and Tournament titles. Transfers Nikola Djapa, Sam Johnson, Ilija Milijaševic, CJ O'Hara, and Chadlyn Traylor join the Raiders with collegiate experience, along with redshirt freshmen PJ Douglas and Isaiah Williams and true freshmen Terrance Hayes Jr., Noah Lewis, and Landen Northrop.
