Yacobucci Named Horizon League Player of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS/DAYTON – Wright State senior setter Lauren Yacobucci has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week following her stellar weekend against Northern Illinois.
Yacobucci orchestrated the high-powered Raider offense this weekend as they picked up a pair of sweeps over Northern Illinois. Over the weekend, Yacobucci picked up 81 assists to lead the league in assists per set with 13.5. This helped power the Raider offense to lead the Horizon League in hitting percentage at .388 and kills per set at 16.0. The senior also got it done on the defensive end with 1.0 blocks and 1.67 digs per set.
This is the first weekly honor of the season for Yacobucci, joining fellow senior Mya Ayro who earned Player of the Week honors on August 31.
Yacobucci and the Raiders will be on the road to open the month of October, traveling to Oakland on October 2 and Cleveland State on October 3.
