Dan Beré

Dan Beré was elevated to Associate Head Coach in April 2024 after originally joining the Wright State men's basketball coaching staff in May 2021.
 
Beré came to Wright State after spending the previous seven seasons at Jacksonville University, having also spent eight seasons at now-Horizon League foe Purdue Fort Wayne and a season at Butler. At both Jacksonville and Fort Wayne, he primarily worked with the guards, while he served as an analyst at Butler. Beré has worked with five guards who have earned all-league honors, including Devin Harris, J.R. Holder and J.D. Notae at Jacksonville.
 
As a student at Indiana, Beré spent four years as a manager for the Hoosiers under former Detroit Mercy head coach Mike Davis. Bere’ earned a bachelor’s degree in Sport Marketing and Management from Indiana in 2005 and a master’s degree in Liberal Studies in 2009. He and his wife, Peachy, have two daughters and one son: Haley, Maggie and Jake.
