Robert Slowik

Robert Slowik joined the Wright State University Sports Medicine Staff in January 2021, working primarily with the men’s basketball team.
 
Prior to joining the Raiders, Slowik spent the 2020 NFL season working with the Atlanta Falcons as a seasonal athletic training intern.
 
A native of East Stroudsburg, PA, Slowik earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from the Pennsylvania State University in 2018. During his time, he worked as a student athletic trainer with several university teams. Slowik also spent time with the National Football League’s Chicago Bears as an athletic training intern during the summer of 2017.
 
In 2020, Slowik earned his Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Kentucky while working as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. He primarily worked with the baseball team while providing assistance to the football team as well.
 
Slowik is a Licensed Athletic Trainer by the Ohio OTPTAT Board, BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, and is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). He is also certified in personalized blood flow restriction (BFR) rehabilitation by Owens Recovery Science.
 
During his free time, Robert enjoys being outdoors, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
