2011: Named to the Horizon League First-Team...tied for team lead in assists and second most shots taken...played and started in 20 games...scored three goals--Xaiver, Loyola and Bowling Green...posted five assists for 11 total points...registered 31 shots with 14 on goal...credited with two game winners vs Loyola and Bowling Green.

2010: Saw action in 12 games while starting nine...lone assist came in 1-1 tie with Loyola...posted 12 total shots with four coming against Western Michigan and Marquette each...two each against Green Bay and IUPUI...Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.

2009: Tied for ninth in the Horizon League in assists with four...assisted WSU's lone goal against Dayton...tallied a goal and an assist and had six shots versus Milwaukee...scored a goal at Detroit and Western Michigan...recorded a goal and assisted on the game-winner against IUPUI...had an assist at Alabama A&M.

2008: Redshirted due to injury.

2007: Appeared in 21 matches with eight starts...tied for second on the squad with two goals...tallied two goals and four points during the season...tallied the match winning goal against Valparaiso and IUPUI...notched a shot on goal at Cal-Poly (9/18), versus Milwaukee (10/7) at Butler (11/1)...and at IPFW (10/25)...scored an unassisted goal and put three shots on goal against Valparaiso (10/28) in overtime...notched a goal against IUPUI (11/5).

Prep: Lettered all four years for the Eagles...selected the teams MVP and team captain during his senior season...garnered All-Ohio Capital Conference honors as a junior and a senior...named the Ohio Capital Conference, Central District and Delaware Gazette Player of the Year...was selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's All-Great Lakes Region Team...tallied 30 goals and seven assists during his senior season...helped BWHS to the Regional Finals as a junior and a senior...ranks second in school history in goals scored...high school teammates with current Raider Braden Fleak...played his club soccer for Ohio Blast FC...also lettered in Football.

Personal: Born Brian Gregory Cothern on August 19, 1988...the son of Jeff Cothern and Jane Barber...has two brothers, A.J. and Eric, and one sister, Amanda.
