Jacob Morrison joined the Wright State soccer staff during the winter of 2019.
He started his coaching career at Miami Trace High School, turning the program from a two-game-win season to a 9-8 record finishing above .500. He continued on to Wilmington College where he also helped the team recover from a two-game-win season before his arrival, to a conference tournament appearance in his first year. After four years coaching at Wilmington, he turned to NAIA Cincinnati Christian University to help build the program under the new head coach.
Morrison is also the Technical Director for the Cincinnati Sirens, the Semi Professional WPSL team based out of Fairfield, OH as well as the Club Head Coach for FOSC 02 Boys and ODP head coach for all three regions of Ohio South. Morrison also is the founder of Morrison Football Academy, a professional preparatory academy that helps athletes with individual fitness, technical and tactical knowledge to prepare them for professional soccer.
An alumni of Ohio Christian University, Morrison was a 1st team all-conference athlete which led OCU to four straight National Tournament Appearances, including one National Final appearance. Also, he was instrumental in the current record holder for goals against average (GAA) of 0.79 and the longest shutout streak in school history of 11 straight shutouts and another record of 14 total shutouts.
