2019: Recorded 20 starts in goal for the Raiders over the course of the 2019 season. Played a total of 1,811 minutes contributing 84 saves (0.757 save percentage) and recording six shutouts. Had a season high nine saves against Cincinnati on September 10. Registered 11 wins, two losses and three ties. Helped the Raiders earn a Horizon League Championship Title and reach the second round of the NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship.
2018: Saw 18 starts in the net for Wright State during the 2018 season. Recorded a total of 1,695.17 minutes for the Raiders, contributing 57 saves (0.750 save percentage) and six shutouts. Finished the 2018 season with an overall record of 12-3-3.
With his efforts in goal, Sundell was named the Horizon League Goal Keeper of the Year and also named to the Horizon League’s All-Conference First Team.
2017: Appeared in 16 games with 16 starts…saw 1493:47 minutes of action…23 goals against with 1.39 goal average…had 53 saves with a 0.697 save percentage…overall record of 8-6-1 …2nd Team All-Horizon League…Named First-Team All-Ohio.
2016: Appeared in 11 games with one start at Valparaiso… named Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week on September 26th.
Notes: Four-time state champion...a member of the regional team within the Swedish national team system...played for IF Sylvia, which is a Division II team in Sweden.
