Abby Wolford

Abby Wolford enters her second season as the Director of Operations for the Wright State women's basketball program. Wolford joined the Raiders after spending the 2020-21 season as an assistant coach under Kari Hoffman at her alma mater, Cedarville. 

Before coaching, Wolford enjoyed a successful four-year playing career with the Yellow Jackets, scoring 1,319 points, good for 19th in school history. The West Harrison, Ind., native was selected to the 2020 NCCAA All-America Second Team after averaging 14.6 points and 3.3 rebounds over 24 games. She was also a three-time All-GMAC player and a two-time GMAC All-Defensive Team recipient. 

Notably, Wolford was a member of three GMAC regular-season championship teams, including the 2015 GMAC Tournament title squad that grabbed an at-large berth to the NCAA Division II Championship. Off the court, she earned academic all-conference honors on three occasions. 

Wolford earned a multi-age health and physical education degree at Cedarville University and holds a master's in business administration from Cedarville.
