Patrick Bain enters his fifth season as an assistant coach for the Wright State women's basketball program.
The former Cedarville University standout joined the Raiders after three seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater on the men's side. The Yellow Jackets produced three consecutive winning seasons under the guidance of Bain, highlighted by an NCCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship title in 2019.
Bain scored 1,266 points from 2014-18 for the Cedarville men's basketball team, averaging 21.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists as a senior through 19 games before suffering a season-ending injury. Despite the early exit to the sidelines, the Tipp City, Ohio product was still named to the NCCAA All-America Second Team. He also earned All-G-MAC First Team honors and a spot on the NCCAA Midwest Region First Team during his collegiate playing career.
Bain graduated with a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from Midwestern Theological Seminary in 2022. He graduated from Cedarville with a bachelor's degree in business management in 2018.
