Biography
2020-21: Started all 27 games for Wright State this season… logged 475 minutes and added 217 points… averaged 17.6 minutes, 8.0 points, and 7.8 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game this season… pulled down a team leading 211 rebounds… finished the season shooting 55.4 percent from the field and 63.2 percent from the free throw line… tallied four double-doubles this season… turned in a season-high 16 points on the road at Robert Morris (01/22/2021)… pulled down a season-high 13 rebounds twice… Frierson was named to the All-League Third Team as well as the All-Defensive Team (second consecutive) following her efforts on the court this season… was named to the Horizon League All-Tournament team… helped the Raiders earn their third Horizon League Championship Title and reach the second round of the NCAA Women’s Championship.
2019-20: Started all 29 regular season contests she appeared in during her junior season, averaging 7.9 points per game (228 total points)… finished the season shooting 55 percent from the field and 64 percent from the line… pulled down a team-leading 261 total rebounds, 9.0 rebounds per game… tallied a team leading 41 blocks for the Raiders… recorded a season-high 18 points on the road against Xavier… was named to the All-Defensive Team.
2018-19: Appeared in 33 games (33 starts) for the Raiders, played 603 minutes averaging 18.3 minutes per game, shot 50 percent from beyond the arc as well as 55.8 percent from field goal range, finished the season with shooting 64 percent from the line, averaged 5.2 rebounds per game (336 total rebounds), 42 blocks and 14 steals for the season. Frierson had a season high 20 points on the road at CSU Bakersfield, along with six free throws made ad 15 rebounds.
2017-18: Made appearances in 32 games…2018 Raider Award Winner…six points, nine rebounds, one steal at UNOH…four points, seven rebounds against Tennessee Tech…eight points, three rebounds, one assists at Georgia…four points, nine rebounds, three assists against Detroit Mercy.
Notes: Averaged 22.8 points, 19 rebounds, four blocks, two steals, and one assist per game while leading her team to a 20-9 record as a senior...earned Female Athlete of the Year at her high school...Harry J. Moore League MVP for her conference...ninth best rebounder in the state...three-time all CIF selection...helped lead her team to the CIF championship as a freshman...Major: Sports Science.
