Former Wright State standout Megan Alders transitioned into an assistant coaching role the Wright State volleyball coaching staff ahead of the 2024 season.
Her appointment follows a distinguished playing career as a Raider, where she amassed 1,264 kills, averaging 2.60 kills per set across nearly 500 sets played from 2019-2023. Â
A first-team All-Horizon League selection in her senior year (2023), Alders' collegiate accolades also included Horizon League All-Freshman Team honors (2019), honorable mention recognition and five selections to the Horizon League All-Academic Team for her scholastic achievements. During her tenure as a player, Wright State secured four Horizon League regular-season championships and three tournament titles, resulting in four NCAA Championship appearances, notably including the program's first-ever at-large bid in 2019.
