ANN ARBOR -
The Wright State indoor track team finished sixth at the Horizon League Championships, which concluded Sunday at the Michigan Indoor Track Building in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Freshman Tiffany Brigham led the way for the Raiders on Sunday as she finished second in the 60 meter dash (7.86) and 200 meter dash (25.56). As a result, Brigham was named as the Horizon League's Running Newcomer of the Year.
Senior Megan Feasel placed seventh in the 3000 meter run (10:47.07) while fellow senior Marie McVetta was ninth in both the 1000 meter run (3:19.83) and the 1 mile run (5:46.15).
Overall, the Raiders posted their highest team score in program history, eclipsing the 24 recorded in 2005.
Wright State opens the outdoor portion of its schedule with the Early Bird Relays in Cincinnati on March 17.
