The Wright State golf team finished in eighth place as the Caputo Invitational, hosted by Loyola at Pine Meadow Golf Course in Mundelein, Illinois, wrapped up with the final round on Tuesday.
The Raiders placed eighth as the final round for Jeffrey Pontius was a disqualification and with Tyler Miskell having withdrawn earlier from the tournament, WSU was down to three scoring players, one fewer than the minimum for a team score.
Chip Knuckey was the top finisher for Wright State as he placed 23rd with a 239 while Charlie Doll was tied for 24th at 240.
Wright State is back in action this weekend, April 19-20, at the Rutherford Intercollegiate in University Park, Pennsylvania.
