Raiders turn in productive day in Memphis

CORDOVA, TN – The Wright State golf team is tied for third as a group with a pair of Raiders tied for second individually after 36 holes of action at the Memphis Intercollegiate on Monday.

CJ Scohy and Timmy Hollenbeck both enter Tuesday's final round at three-under and two shots back of the individual leader, while Wright State is tied with Tarleton State at 11-over as a group with 18 holes to play. Final round action tees off at 9:30 a.m. ET.

Hollenbeck came out on fire with a seven-under 65 in his first round with eight birdies before he followed that up with a four-over second round 76 to put himself in contention on Tuesday, while Scohy opened with a three-under 69 and then an even par 72 with seven total birdies to be in the same spot.

Adam Horn is nine-over entering Tuesday's final round, opening with a five-over 77 before a second round four-over 76, while Ian Asch carded an even par opening round 72 followed by an afternoon 82 to sit at 10-over in a tie for 53rd. Shane Ochs got started with a nine-over 81 in the morning round before a second round 80 and enters Tuesday at 17-over in a tie for 59th.

Wright State and Tarleton State (+11) are three shots back of second-place Eastern Kentucky at eight-over, while tournament host Memphis (-8) is the only group in the 11-team field under par after 36 holes. Memphis' Diego Do Patrocinio Lourenco is the individual leader at five-under with Scohy, Hollenbeck and Yixiang Wang, also of Memphis, each at three-under.
