The Wright State men's soccer team fell behind 4-0 before tallying their first goal of the match in a 5-1 loss to Canisius in the Buffalo Fall Classic. Milovan Milosevic tallied the Raiders lone goal of the match in the 66th minute.
Canisius used a trio of goals in the first half to build their lead and added a tally in the second half to take a 4-0 lead before WSU would crack the scoring column.
Milosevic took a crossing pass from freshman Jabari Velinor and slipped it past the CU keeper. It was the first assist of the career for Velinor and was only the third goal of the season for the Green and Gold.
Matt Koewler started the match and allowed three goals in 45-minutes of work. Freshman Aaron Ritter started the second half and allowed a pair of goals in 45-minutes of action in net.
Senior Josh Grossman was named to the All-Tournament Team for the second straight weekend.
The Raiders will open the home portion of their schedule on Wednesday, September 10, against IPFW. Wright State will take to the pitch for a 7:00 match against the Mastodons.
