Volleyball Falls to George Mason at WVU Invitational

The Wright State volleyball team dropped its final match in the West Virginia Invitational Saturday afternoon to George Mason 25-9, 25-17, 25-17.
George Mason outhit the Raiders .310-.000 for the match and held a 9-3 advantage in total blocks.
Junior Jessica Woods and senior Becca Awaa each finished the match with five kills as senior Lexi Leonhard had 12 digs. Senior Michelle Hammond ended with 13 assists.
Junior Shaunda Sandifer was named to the All-Tournament Team as she recorded 25 kills, 17 digs and nine blocks over three matches.
WSU, now 8-5, returns to Horizon League action next weekend with matches at Valparaiso Friday and at Butler Saturday.
