The Wright State softball team scored in every inning as the Raiders run-ruled Green Bay 11-2 in the rubber game of the three-game Horizon League series Sunday at the WSU Softball Field.

The scoring started right from the start for the Raiders as they tallied two in the first. After Briauna Birl reached base on a fielder's choice, China Frost made it 1-0 with a triple down the right field line. Justine Shilt then laid down a squeeze bunt that drove in Frost.

WSU tacked on two more in the second as Malerie Klingler and Birl each had a RBI singles. Green Bay cut the deficit in half with two of its own in the third, only to see the Raiders answer with a pair in the bottom half of the frame as Jamie Perkins smacked a solo home run to left center, her sixth of the season, followed by an Allison Cox double, who later scored on an error.

The game was blown open in the bottom of the fourth as Wright State scored five runs on six hits. Three straight singles from Birl, Frost and Shilt started the inning and two runs scored as Shilt's went past the right fielder for two bases. Katie Kine singled in Shilt and after a Mollie Berry hit, a two-run triple to center off the bat of Klingler made it 11-2.

Allison Cox (7-3) earned the win as she went four innings, allowing just two earned run on four hits and struck out three. Offensively, Birl, Frost, Berry and Klingler each had two hits.

Wright State (20-24-1, 11-7 Horizon) continues the homestand with a three-game midweek series against Valparaiso, starting with a doubleheader Tuesday at 2:00.
