
Volleyball Falls at Dayton

The Wright State volleyball team dropped a three-set decision at Dayton Tuesday night, falling to the Flyers 25-13, 25-13, 25-12.
WSU trailed just 14-12 in the opening set before Dayton scored eight straight points and closed the set with a 11-1 run. The Flyers then jumped out to a 9-2 advantage in the second set and broke away from a 12-7 lead in the third set with a 6-0 run.
Alaina McAuley paced the Raiders with 10 kills while Heidi Splinter added nine.
Wright State (3-20) returns to Horizon League play on Friday, October 21, with a home match against league-leading Milwaukee starting at 7:00.
