
Golf Finishes Second at Horizon League Championship

The Wright State golf team recorded a 301 score on Sunday, the best round of any team for the entire tournament, as the Raiders finished second at the Horizon League Championship, held at Mission Inn Resort in Howie-In-The-Hills, Florida.
Jordan Higgins led the way for WSU as he shot a 71 on Sunday to finish third with a three-round score of 225, just one stroke off the lead. Scott Thompson tied for fifth with a 230. Both were named to the league's All-Tournament Team.
The second-place finish was the highest for the Raiders since also placing second in 2005.
