Golf Finishes Third at UK Bluegrass Invite

The Wright State golf team Sunday combined for a 281 in the final round, the best of any team in the field, to finish third at the UK Bluegrass Fall Invitational, held at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington.
Jordan Higgins was the top finisher for the Raiders as he tied for third with a 216, including a 72 in the final round. Freshman Cody Nickson carded a 68 on Sunday to end up at 218, good for a ninth-place tie. Scott Thompson shot a 71 to finish tied for 13th at 219.
The Raiders return to action at the Telich/Sun Life Financial CSU Invitational, set for October 3-4 in Cleveland.
