
Men's Soccer Falls 2-1 at #21 Kentucky

The Wright State men's soccer team battled #21 Kentucky throughout before falling 2-1 at the UK Tournament in Lexington Friday night.
Kentucky scored just 2:16 into the contest on a Brad Walker goal on assists by Matt Lodge and Steven Perinovic. It stayed that way, though, until the Wildcats tallied another goal at the 80:49 mark as Lodge scored off an assist from Charlie Pettys.
The Raiders avoided the shutout as Bayahtah Roberts scored his first collegiate goal at the 89:05 mark on a penalty kick.
Kentucky (3-0) outshot WSU 24-4 and had a 14-5 advantage in corner kick, but the Wright State defense held strong.
Wright State (2-1) concludes play at the UK Tournament on Sunday, facing Evansville at noon.
