
Swimming Opens Season With Six Wins

The Wright State swimming and diving teams opened their seasons Sunday as both the men and women won three times in Fishers, Indiana. The men defeated Evansville, Saint Louis and Valparaiso while the women were victorious over Butler, Saint Louis and Valparaiso.
WSU recorded six first-place finishes on the men's side as Matt Dassow won the 1000 free, John Vigar the 200 and 500 free, Kile Aukerman the 400 IM and 200 back and Eric Ahlden the 200 fly,
On the women's side, the Raiders posted three first-place finishes as Justyna Hampel won the 500 and 1000 free and Sarah Weidner the 200 back.
Wright State returns to action on Saturday, October 13, at 11:00 as the Raiders take on UIC in the home opener at the WSU Natatorium.
