Track Fourth After First Day of HL Championships

The Wright State track team is fourth after Saturday's opening day of the Horizon League Championships in Youngstown.
The Raiders set three school records on the day as Kylie Kopp and Brittany Jones each had a mark of 1.57 meters in the high jump portion of the pentathlon, Kopp had a score of 3345 in the pentathlon and Brittany Bailey had a time of 2:18.30 in the prelims of the 800 meter run.
Kopp finished second in the pentathlon, including wins in the high jump and long jump, and was fourth in the regular long jump event. Jones was fourth in the pentathlon while Jessica Berry was fourth in the pole vault.
The meet concludes on Sunday.
