#21/18 Ohio State scored the first 10 points of the game and led throughout in a 100-55 decision over Wright State in men's basketball action in Columbus Saturday night.
The Buckeyes shot 59 percent in the first half, including four of seven three-pointers, in building a 47-18 halftime advantage. OSU continues its hot shooting the final 20 minutes, hitting for 63 percent during the period in finishing at 61 percent overall compared to 30 percent for the Raiders.
Grant Benzinger led WSU with 12 points on four three-pointers and had six rebounds while Joe Thomasson added 10 points along with seven rebounds.
Wright State (8-6) opens Horizon League play on Friday, January 2, as the Raiders host Detroit at 7:00.
