Wright State University is excited to announce Premier Health has signed on to be the Raiders’ jersey patch sponsor — the first in the Dayton region and testament to the commitment between the institutions and their partnership.
DAYTON, OHIO — Wright State University is proud to announce an exclusive jersey patch sponsorship with Premier Health, ushering in a new era for one of the region's most impactful athletics partnerships. As the first university in the Miami Valley to announce a sponsorship of this caliber, Wright State continues to set the standard for innovation and excellence in collegiate athletics.
The new uniform design will feature the Premier Health logo for every athletics team, highlighting a longstanding relationship between Wright State University and the Dayton region's academic health system. While Premier Health has long supported Raider Athletics through sports medicine and athlete care, the partnership today reaches far beyond the court and playing field.
"Premier Health has stood alongside Wright State Athletics for years and this partnership is a profound statement of what that relationship means," said Wright State Athletics Director Brad Chandler. "All 14 Division I programs will now carry Premier Health on its uniform, connecting our student-athletes with the academic health system that cares for the families in our stands and across our community. We worked hard to bring the first jersey patch sponsorship in the Dayton region to life, and we're proud that it's with a partner that has always shown up for Wright State. This is about more than visibility. It's two Dayton institutions putting their names side by side and investing in the next generation."
Through a strategic enhanced affiliation established in 2024, Wright State and Premier Health are advancing academic medicine, educating future healthcare professionals, strengthening the regional workforce, supporting research and innovation and improving community health across Southwest Ohio. The jersey patch serves as a visible reminder of a partnership dedicated to making a lasting impact on the communities both organizations serve.
Â
"This partnership extends far beyond athletics," said Keith Bricking, M.D., executive vice president and chief clinical officer for Premier Health. "As the region's academic health system, we're proud to support Raider Athletics as part of a broader partnership that is creating opportunities for students and strengthening the future of Southwest Ohio. The jersey patch serves as a visible reminder of our shared commitment to education, innovation, community health and preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals."
Fresh off four Horizon League championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances in 2025–26, Wright State Athletics is entering a new era of opportunity, making the Premier Health jersey patch sponsorship a timely and transformative partnership.
The new jerseys will debut at the Stars, Stripes and Flight Classic, the season opener for Wright State Raider's men's basketball against the Air Force Falcons on Monday, November 2 at 7 p.m. at the Nutter Center.
