Track Finishes Fourth at Buckeye Tune-Up

Behind a record-setting performance by Brittany Bailey in the 1000 meter run, the Wright State track team finished fourth at the Buckeye Tune-Up Friday in Columbus.
Bailey set the new mark in winning the event with a time of 3:01.12, eclipsing the 3:05.73 set by Jessica Doepker at last year's Buckeye Tune-Up. Doepker was third at 3:04.38 and Alexandra Brown fifth at 3:05.70.
Kaley Moss placed fifth in the pole vault (3.45m) while Kacia Grant was sixth in the 60 meter dash (7.86) and Gabrielle Markley sixth in the high jump (1.48m).
Wright State now turns its attention to the Horizon League Indoor Championships, which will take place next weekend (February 28 & March 1) in Youngstown.
