Alstork Named SAAC Athlete of the Month

Junior guard Mark Alstork of the men's basketball team has been selected as the Wright State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's Athlete of the Month, it was announced at their monthly meeting Thursday.
Alstork (Dayton, OH/Thurgood Marshall) averaged 22.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and four assists per game as the Raiders started the season at 6-2. Named the Horizon League Player of the Week on November 14 and 21 and selected to Men Against Breast Cancer Classic All-Tournament Team, Alstork scored 39 points against Toledo, 30 points at Southern Illinois and 29 points versus Miami.
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee holds a monthly meeting of Wright State team captains from all 16 sports along with athletic administration to discuss issues and concerns.
