Three Student-Athletes Honored

Three Wright State student-athletes were honored Thursday at the annual Student Leadership Recognition Reception hosted by the Office of Student Activities.

Men's Soccer player Ryan Pignatiello was recognized as an Outstanding Senior Leader; while track athletes Jacquelyn Smith and Kennedy Rumer were honored as an Outstanding Emerging Leader and an Outstanding Established Leader, respectively.

Pignatiello, from Troy, Ohio, recently completed his senior season with the Raider soccer team as a goalkeeper, posting three wins in five games. Smith is a freshman pole vaulter from Cortland, Ohio, while Rumer is a sophomore from Waynesfield, Ohio, who competes in multiple events.
