
Ngatcha Named SAAC Athlete of the Month

Senior forward Peguy Ngatcha of the men's soccer team has been selected as the Wright State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's Athlete of the Month, it was announced at their monthly meeting Thursday.
Ngatcha (Manchester, NH/Kimball Union Academy) leads the team and the Horizon League in goals with four, points with nine and shots with 14. He paced the Raider offense with three goals last week as WSU won a pair of matches. In a 2-1 double overtime victory at Cincinnati on Friday, September 2, Ngatcha recorded both goals, including the golden goal at the 107:13 mark of the second overtime, and tallied nine shots.
Wright State then opened the home portion of its schedule with a 3-2 decision over Duquesne on Monday, September 5, with Ngatcha posting the first goal of the match at the 7:21 mark of the first half.
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee holds a monthly meeting of Wright State team captains from all 16 sports along with athletic administration to discuss issues and concerns.
