WSU Athletics Hosts Career Fair

The Wright State athletics department hosted its second annual Senior Student-Athlete Career Fair on Monday, January 23.
The goal of the fair is to provide a venue for student-athletes to network with employers from organizations who have an interest in hiring student-athletes from NCAA member schools. Athletics and the Career Center teamed up to provide a "first impression" table where they reviewed resumes and provided student-athletes with feedback. The Director of the Career Center, Cheryl Stuart, also facilitated the career panel Q&A. It was a great opportunity to meet with professionals and gather career information.
The evening included career advice from company representatives, small group sessions in a round-robin format as well as individual one-on-one network opportunities. Among the companies represented were ABC Pediatric Therapy Network, Northwestern Mutual, Peerless Technologies, Reynolds & Reynolds, Optimus, Miami Valley Steel, Speedway, Teradata, LexisNexis, Hyland, Google Cloud, Clark Schaefer Hackett, Dayton Freight.
