Men's Basketball to Play at Miami

The Wright State men's basketball team will remain on the road as they travel to Miami (OH) Tuesday night at 7 pm.
Wright State
The Raiders took a close 84-80 loss at Loyola Friday night to open the 2017-18 season. Grant Benzinger, back off surgery, led the Raider attack with 16 points, including four threes. The balanced scoring included 15 points from Mark Hughes and Everett Winchester while Justin Mitchell pitched in 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists and five steals. WSU down 45-41 at half, Wright State held the Ramblers to just 37% shooting in the second half. Winchester was named the Horizon League Freshman of the week.
Miami
The RedHawks opened the season with a close 55-54 win at Fordham Friday night. Jalen Adaway led the way with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Logan McLane finished with nine points and 11 boards. Miami won the boards 53-25.

The Raiders open at home against Murray State Saturday night at 7 pm.
