The Wright State track and field team competed in the first day of the Marshall Invitational held in Huntington, West Virginia on Friday.
Maria Heckman finished third in the women's pole vault while Hailey Brumfield came in fourth in the 5000 meter run.
The invitational concludes on Saturday.
