Turner Named SAAC Athlete of the Month

Senior Tori Turner of the women's tennis team has been selected as the Wright State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's Athlete of the Month, it was announced at their monthly meeting Thursday.
Turner (Hamilton, OH/Lakota West) posted a 4-3 record in singles play during January, with wins over Saint Francis (PA), IUPUI, Dayton and Butler. She also teamed with Taylor Culbertson to go 5-1 in doubles with wins over Saint Francis (PA), IUPUI, Notre Dame, Eastern Illinois and Butler.
Turners was selected as the Horizon League Player of the Week on January 24 for her wins over IUPUI and Dayton and was part of the league's doubles Team of the Week for her victories over IUPUI and Notre Dame.
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee holds a monthly meeting of Wright State team captains from all 16 sports along with athletic administration to discuss issues and concerns.
