Brown Named SAAC Athlete of the Month

Senior Alexandra Brown of the indoor track team has been selected as the Wright State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's Athlete of the Month, it was announced at their monthly meeting Thursday.

Brown (Yellow Springs, OH/Yellow Springs) was the 3000 meter run champion at the Horizon League Indoor Championships in Youngstown. She also set a school record in winning the 1 mile run on February 17 at the Ball State Quad (5:05.38).

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee holds a monthly meeting of Wright State team captains from all 16 sports along with athletic administration to discuss issues and concerns.
