Track Competes in Final Day of Jesse Owens Classic

The Wright State track team competed Saturday in the second day of the Jesse Owens Track Classic, held in Columbus.
The Raiders received a 13th place finish from sophomore Aurora Turner in the 3000 meter run. Junior Katie Abrahamowicz competed in two events, long jump and triple jump, finishing in 15th and 35th place respectively. Senior Jessica Doepker finished 14th in the 800 meter run, while sophomore Brooklyn Mikesell came in 16th in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.79, just short of the team best that she set at 1:03.29 last weekend.
Wright State will return next Friday, April 28, as they travel to Hillsdale, Michigan to compete in the Gina Relays.
