
Wenzler Falls in Playoff at Horizon League Golf Championship

After tying for first through 54 holes, Wright State senior Ryan Wenzler fell in a two-hole playoff as the Horizon League Golf Championship, held in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, concluded with the final round on Tuesday.
Wenzler, who earned All-Tournament honors for the third consecutive year, shot a 73 in the final round to finish with a three-round score of 215, tying him with Anton Krecic of Cleveland State, who shot a 69 in the final round.
Junior Chris Rossi and freshman Austin Schoonmaker tied for 15th with a three-round score of 229.
The Raiders finished third as a team with a 905, including 291 on Tuesday.
