
Raiders Play at Indiana State Saturday at 2 pm

The Wright State men's basketball team has never met Indiana State on the court before, but that changes Saturday as the Raiders travel to Terre Haute for a 2:00 pm contest. Fans can listen to Chris Collins and Jim Brown on Big 106.5 and the iHeart App and watch the game on ESPN+.
Wright State
The Raiders are coming off a win at home against Cedarville 58-39 Tuesday night. Wright State was led by four players in double-figure scoring as Loudon Love posted his fourth double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Cole Gentry led the way with 15 points, a career-high eight rebounds and five assists. Mark Hughes ended with 14 points and eight boards and Bill Wampler had 12 points. Skyelar Potter grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.Â
Wright State has been led by Love, who was recently named to the Lou Henson Award Watch List for the mid-major's best big man. He is averaging a double-double at 15.7 points and 10.0, rebounds per game. Three other Raiders average in double digits: Wampler 14.3, Gentry 14.1 and Hughes 10.7. Potter comes off the bench to average 6.4 points and 6.3 rebounds.Â
Indiana State
The Sycamores are riding a four-game winning streak after winning at San Jose State Wednesday night 86-57. Indiana State hit 76 percent of their shots in the first half and, for the game, the ISU connected on 64.2 percent of their shots. Individually, Clayton Hughes led the way with a career-best 23 points as he was 9-of-10 from the field. He also finished with a 4-of-5 mark from three-point range. Tyreke Key,a Missouri Valley Freshman Team member last year, added 17 points. Indiana State also defeated Green Bay on the road 78-74 on Nov. 9.
Jordan Barnes, a second-team selection last year, leads the team at 20.3 points per game but did not play at San Jose while Key averages 18.8 points. Key and Emondre Rickman lead ISU on the boards at 5.4 rebounds per game each. Barnes was selected to the Missouri Valley Conference preseason first team as the Sycamores were picked to finish sixth. This is a special season for the Sycamores as ISU will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Indiana State reaching the NCAA Final Four and the National Championship Game against Michigan State with Larry Bird.
